Printable Self-Care Planner - Your Ultimate Wellness Guide

I'm sure you all know by now that I love planning. Whether it is for my daily tasks, an upcoming trip, or all of my kids' sporting events, I have a planner that I am using at all times. If it's not a planner, then it is a printable that I have made myself to fit for my specific needs. In fact, I have an entire digital printable shop.

I don't know what it is about taking notes, making checklists, and just having an overall plan for what is happening in our lives which I just love.

As a mom of 4 boys, I don't have a lot of time for myself so one of my goals this year is to focus on my own self-care routine and me time. To help hold myself accountable I made a printable self-care planner.

I don't want this to just be another thing that I say I'm going to do and then not follow through on. That's one of the reasons why I made this printable planner. I want it to become a part of my daily routine and in order to do that I need to create self-care habits that I can follow.

Once you have downloaded the planner you can grab your favorite pens or pencils and start on this new self-care journey.

What is a self-care planner?

A self-care planner is quite different than a regular daily or monthly planner that you use to organize your life. It is completely dedicated to your health and wellness.

If you are unsure where to start you can use this workbook as your self-care plan until you get into the groove of what feels right for you.

It can feel overwhelming when you are just starting out on a self-care journey. Using a planner will help take the anxiety off of starting something new.

I recommend starting off slowly. Schedule time into your calendar to do 1 thing for yourself. It can be as simple as reading, putting on a face mask, or even ordering takeout.

Do I need a self-care planner?

You may be wondering if you need to use a self-care planner. If you are someone who struggles with scheduling time for yourself or feels burnout out all the time then I definitely recommend you try using one.

One of the first steps in your self-care journey is awareness. When you realize you've been neglecting your health and wellness you need to start to make it a priority.

When you have this self-care workbook to guide you, it makes it easier to build your new self-love habits into your life.

Slowly working towards your goals whether they are resting more, creating new exercise routines, having positive habits, or to just relieve stress will help your overall mental well-being.

Printable Self-Care Planner

This self-care workbook is 28 pages of goodness. Below you will find a quick outline of some of the included pages in the workbook.

30 Days of Self-care

Use this worksheet to guide you through the month with new self-care activities and examples of things you can do for yourself. You can mark them off as you go or just use it as a way to come up with your own ideas.

Love Letter

This is one of my favorite worksheets in this workbook. It will guide you to think about some of the hurtful things you say to yourself and how you can reflect on that and change some of those negative thoughts.

The best self-care planners are those that allow you to really dig deep and think about your life and what you want to do or change.

I'm Grateful for

Each day of the month you can use this worksheet to fill in what you are grateful for. Daily gratitude practices help to keep you grounded and focus on the positive for your day.

You can take it a step further and head over to our gratitude journal to expand on the topic you wrote in for the day. This will give you journaling practice to slowly add to your routine which will then become a daily habit.

I like to start my day with a morning gratitude practice and come up with 3-5 things that I am grateful for at that moment.

My Affirmations

This worksheet is here for you to add in all of your favorite quotes and affirmations. You can reference it daily or fill in a new one throughout the month so you can focus on that specific affirmation.

Self-Care Goals

This worksheet breaks it down for you so you can easily fill in your top self-care goals for each category of your life.

  • Goals for your body

  • Goals for your spirit

  • Goals for your mind

  • Goals for your heart

  • Good habits your want to live by

  • New things you want to learn

  • How do you want to treat yourself

  • How do you want to get organized

Weekly Beauty Routine

Keep track of your weekly beauty routines. This can be your face care or even your hair care steps that you want to do a few times a week. Just add in the step and then fill out the block for the corresponding spot as you do it each day.

Monthly Check-in

At the end of each month, you can set aside some time to do a self-reflection practice and go through the questions on this worksheet in the pdf file. It's here to help you check in with yourself and just journal about how your month went and how you felt.

Doing this monthly reflection will help you to prepare yourself for the next month as well.

The planner also includes:

  • Vision Board

  • My Favorites

  • Medication tracker

  • 30-Day Workout Plan

  • Monthly Habit Tracker

  • Meal Planning

  • Monthly Mood Tracker

  • Monthly Goals

  • Weekly Wellness (undated planner)

  • Sleep Tracker

How do I use the self-care planner?

The printable self-care workbook that I have created is set up to be used as a 30-day guide.

You can use it longer than 30 days, but it will help you throughout the month to stay on track with all of your health and wellness needs.

Over the next 30 days, you will start to see your best self show up as you take care of yourself and nourish your body.

After the first 30 days, you can print out another copy to start on for the next month. You will see that it starts to become a part of your daily routine and planning process.
