As a parent, it can be hard to get our kids to want to sit down and practice handwriting so to make it a little bit easier, I made these Dinosaur Alphabet Handwriting Practice Sheets.

He is at the stage where he still switches between using his left and right hand. His preschool teacher told me that he will become more dominant at this age, so we have been practicing a lot at home to help him out.

At the bottom of the sheet, there is an example of how to properly write the letter with arrows. You can use that as a guide to having your child trace over it so that they are correctly writing the uppercase letter on the lines.

You can also use these practice sheets as flashcards so that your child can begin to identify each letter as well.

Reuse the Handwriting Practice Sheets

After you have downloaded a copy of the Dinosaur Alphabet Handwriting Practice Sheets you can print a copy of each letter.

Then, put them into a sheet protector and have your child use a washable marker. That way, you can use these sheets over and over again.

Here’s what you’ll need to reuse the practice sheets:

• Reusable marker (thin tIp)

• 1-inch binder

• 3 hole punch

You can put them into a binder to stay organized and have them all in one place when it comes time for your child to practice their handwriting.

If you decide to use the black and white version, you can have your child color each letter as they work their way through the alphabet.
